A-las-a-ka

It has been weeks since we have been back from A-las-a-ka (as Colton calls it) and even though it is contrary to my nature to post a blog "out of order", I wanted to share a little bit of our trip.

Me and the kiddos flew to Anchorage to surprise my friend "miss mina" (Melia) for her birthday and for the kids to surprise their best buds with a full week worth of play. And play they did! The kids did not stop playing all week long, and the four of them got a long so well for the amount of time they were spending with one another. We had a great week with our friends. We visited lots of parks, went to the zoo, an air show, their new church, and spent hours upon hours in the back yard playing. We lucked out on weather....it was beautiful. Blue sky and sun almost every day. We are so thankful we were able to visit our friends in their new home in their new town.

 We love them so much and miss them like crazy every day! But know they are right where God wants for them to be.
