It has been almost four weeks now that the Wenatchee valley has been socked in by all of the smoke from the wild fires. We have been stuck inside to escape the "hazardous" air quality and everyone has gone a little bit crazy with cabin fever.
Today was a different story. We woke up to sunshine, blue sky, no clouds, and no "serious" smoke (just a little bit of haze). To take advantage of it we played outside all day to soak in the sun and fresh air. Ella and I hit the park with her little girlfriend while Colton was at preschool, and then after naps we headed back out to enjoy it before the sun went down.
I am so thankful for today, the sun, the fresh air, and renewed sanity. I will never again take for granted the ability to breath fresh air or play outside again!
