canning

Is no simple process..... but totally worth the outcome. Ella and I and my friend Jenny turned those two huge boxes of apricots into 26 jars of jam, 2 apricot blueberry crisps, and a double batch of apricot berry muffins and still had more to spare. After 9 hours in my kitchen ( literally) I was done looking at the apricots and sent the last of them down the road to our neighbors, making all parties very happy. Next up raspberry jam! (nanmom don't forget the raspberries when you come!)
